Are there any known problem with Cyrillic font, or Russian LANG setting in Pathetic Writer? If I set LANG=ru_RU, pw (3.1.20) segfaults, as stated in the bug report attach below, that I receive against Pathetic Writer debian package. I remember someone speaking about these problems, but can't find on my mail archives. Here are my standard locale settings: $ locale LANG=POSIX LC_CTYPE=russian LC_NUMERIC="POSIX" LC_TIME="POSIX" LC_COLLATE="POSIX" LC_MONETARY="POSIX" LC_MESSAGES="POSIX" LC_ALL= (russian is aliased to ru_RU.KOI8-R). I only need LC_CTYPE to allow russian characters to be entered in a shell. As soon as I unset it, everything works fine! OK, I can live without it. (at least for a while ;-) ) Thanks again! --- Alexander.
