CommuniGate File 1.3

Welcome to CommuniGate File - the CommuniGate communication module supporting
E-mail message transfer to and from plain text files.

Applications can use the CommuniGate File module to send messages: if an
application composes a message as a plain text file and places that file in
the CommuniGate File OutBox folder, the CommuniGate File module reads it and
submits the message to the system in the same way as if that messages was
read from the Internet.

Applications can use the CommuniGate File module to receive messages: if a
message is addressed/routed to FileGate, the user_name part of the address is
used as a name of a folder or a text file inside the CommuniGate File InBoxes
folder. If a folder is found, the CommuniGate File module stores the message
in that folder as a plain text file. If a text file is found, the CommuniGate
File module appends the message (converted to the plain text format) to the
file. So, each application can have its own InBox and it can receive messages
either by scanning the folder and reading the text files found, or by reading
the mailbox text file.

The CommuniGate File module allows you to use the CommuniGate Server with some
mailers that can exchange messages via the file system. For example, you can
use Eudora in its "UUCP" mode on machines connected to the File Server that
also runs the CommuniGate Server. It is especially useful if you use PPP on
the CommuniGate Server: since the current version of MacOS does not allow to
use TCP/IP via Ethernet if you use PPP, computers on your Ethernet network
cannot access the Server via the regular SMTP and POP protocols.

The latest version of the CommuniGate System components and
the update System manuals can be obtained from:
<http://www.stalker.com>
or
<ftp://ftp.stalker.com>

CommuniGate PWD 1.1
Welcome to CommuniGate PWD - the CommuniGate server module supporting remote
password management using the poppwd protocol.

The CommuniGate PWD module allows users to modify their MacOS/AppleShare
passwords and alternative CommuniGate Passwords via TCP/IP networks using
Eudora(r) and other mailers that support the poppwd protocol (that have the
"change password" feature).

The CommuniGate PWD module allows users to modify their MacOS/AppleShare
passwords and alternative Server passwords via AppleTalk networks using
Claris(r) Emailer and other AppleTalk-savvy mailers.

The CommuniGate PWD module supports several simultaneous TCP/IP and AppleTalk
connections.

Subject: [*] Navigator Button Editor 1.3.2J - Japanese Version

This is the Japanese version of the Navigator Button Editor package.

If Netscape Navigator or Netscape Communicator for the Mac OS is your web
browser of choice, you'll want to check this out! You can use this nifty
little app to customize those six less-than-lovable directory buttons in
Navigator or to customize and expand the "Guide" button pop-up menu in
Communicator 4.

・ Netscape Navigator (tm) / Communicator (tm) versions supported:

Navigator Button Editor supports Mac OS Netscape Navigator (tm) version 1.1N
through 3.x and Netscape Navigator (tm) /Communicator (tm) 4.03. Future
versions will certainly be supported when necessary. (It would be nice if
Netscape would build this function into Navigator for we dedicated Mac
folk.)

・ Macintosh Systems supported:

Navigator Button Editor is FAT BINARY and has been successfully tested on
Macintoshes ranging from an LCIII with System 7.1 to an PowerMac 8500
running Mac OS 8. (Netscape Communicator (tm) requires System 7.5 or
greater)

Version 1.3.2

- Maintenance release to fix an obscure bug where a user could paste in some
troublesome characters.

Subject: [*] PageSucker 1.0.1 - Automatic Web Downloader

PageSucker is a small utility that allows entire Web page hierarchies to be
downloaded automatically. The pages will thereby be modified in such a way that
they can then be viewed off-line (even after copying them to a CD-ROM or the
like). Here's a list of PageSucker's main features:

- Various strong URL filters to restrict the downloads to only the desired
files
or file types. Among the filters, a regular expression filter that allows the
use of Perl like regular expressions to determine if a certain page should be
downloaded (for expert users!).

- Automatic rebuilding of the server's file system hierarchy on the client side
(i.e. files will not be downloaded into one common directory, but the server's
directory tree will be recreated if possible).

- Option to download only pages up to a certain recursion depth.

- Multithreaded. More than one connection to a server can be opened at a time,
which can reduce download times by a factor of 10 or more as compared to
traditional single-connection download programs (e.g. FTP clients).

- Adapted to special cases where the server's file system has less limitations
in file naming than the local machine. The names of the downloaded files
will be
shortened as necessary and stripped of characters that are illegal in the local
filesystem.

- Automatic prevention of file overwriting. If a file with the same name
already
exists, the new file will be renamed such as to prevent destruction of the old
file.

- Limited capability to correct broken HTML pages, so that the downloaded
copies
might work better than the original pages.

- Written entirely in Java, which implies extremely high portability. Currently
there is a Macintosh and a Windows 95/NT version of the archive, but the
Windows
version should also be usable on other platforms (UNIX etc.)

currency to another and it is a simple matter to change the conversion

entry in its corresponding field. You can assign categories to each
transaction and it will give you category totals. It can be used for T
