Aaron 1.6.1 (April 21, 1997) by Greg Landweber and Edward Voas
(c) 1997 Greg Landweber and Amargosa Software, Inc. >From the authors of
Greg's Buttons, Greg's Browser, and DoubleScroll.

Why wait for eight? Your Mac can have the Apple Grayscale Appearance
(formerly intended for Copland / Mac OS 8) today! Just drop Aaron into
your Extensions folder, and your Mac will look like Macs of the future.
Aaron gives you 3D grayscale windows, scroll bars, buttons, folder
icons, menus, fonts, pop-ups, progress boxes, Finder window headers, and
more. Aaron is a fat binary for Macs and PowerMacs.

Version 1.6.1 offers various bug fixes and improvements. It also lets
you switch the system font from Veritas 12 (introduced in Aaron 1.6)
back to the Espi Sans Bold 10 system font used in Aaron 1.5.3 and
earlier.

This is a fully-playable demo of Bumbler, a commercial action game for
the Power Mac.

Screaming with impossibly frantic action, Bumbler overwhelms your senses
as you protect your hive from swarms of crazed crawling and flying
insects. Wave after wave of relentless attackers leave you little time
to wipe the sweat from your brow and the splattered bug guts from your
monitor. The first game written entirely in PowerPC assembly language,
Bumbler pushes your Power Mac to its limits.

price for everyone.]

Subject: [*] CD Equalizer+Karaoke 3.1

S

CD Equalizer + Karaoke 3.1 (PPC)

Listening to audio discs on your internal CD drive can be a pretty flat
experience- most players lack the features of even modest stereo
systems. To fix this, I created CD Equalizer, a 27 band professional
equalizer which allows you to tailor CD sound to your listening tastes.
It also allows registered users to strip vocals from many songs on
standard audio CD's.

CD Equalizer records sound from a CD-ROM drive (or other source), runs
it through a 27 band equalizer, then plays the new signal through the
Mac's speakers and/or headphone jack. It can run in the background, so
you can listen to CD's while using other applications.

You control the sound intensity in each band by adjusting a large
display in the center of the window. Click over or under a given bar to
raise or lower it, or sweep out a curve all at once by holding the mouse
down. You can save and recall sets of bar heights with the memory
buttons at the bottom of the window.

Power Performa Owners: To ensure that the equalizer runs as smoothly as
possible on your machine, you should run the autocalibration procedure
("Calibrate CD Direct" in the File Menu). It takes about 10 minutes,
but you only have to do it the first time you run the equalizer.

CD Equalizer + Karaoke is shareware; if you use it for more than thirty
days, you must register by paying the $20 fee. Registered users will
receive a postcard with an ID and password which can be used to remove
the shareware notices and enable extra features like vocal stripping.

Version 3.1 is a maintenance release which adds support for ATAPI CD-ROM
drives and resolves the System 7.6 distortion conflict; many smaller
glitches are also addressed.

The latest versions of all my shareware programs are available from my
web page: http://members.aol.com/carlhuben/index.html There you will
find additional information and support materials, including a vocal
stripper sample.

also be added to the labels, and can be scaled and repositioned. It is
ideal for creating computer CD labels, music CD labels, professional

Subject: [*] DiskTracker 1.1.2

DiskTracker is an extremely powerful and flexible disk cataloging and
management system. It combines a huge feature set with a really easy to
use Mac-like interface. With DiskTracker, you can quickly and easily
create a catalog of every file on every one of your floppy disks, hard
drives, CD-ROMs, optical drives, servers, or whatever. Naturally,
DiskTracker can read into StuffIt and Compact Pro archives and
self-expanding applications.

After scanning your disks, you can then search the catalog at
unbelievable speeds with the powerful searching facility (including
multi-parameter and duplicate file searching). You can easily create
professional looking disk labels with the built in disk labeling
facility and label template designer.

Features include:

-View the contents of scanned volumes in a familiar easy-to-use
System-7-style file list. -Built in (fast!) virtual memory scheme
ensures that you won't run out of memory, even when scanning huge
volumes and CD-ROMs with only 600K of allocated RAM! -Intelligent disk
scanner can operate in the background and allows either scans of online
volumes and servers or floppy disks (insert disks one at a time to scan
them). -Launch files directly from the program, or have the finder
display them for you. -Fast, multi-parameter (use AND, OR, or XOR)
searches. Search on almost 20 different criteria! -Really powerful disk
labeling system allows completely automated disk label production. -Draw
your own label templates using the built in MacDraw(tm)-style template
editor, featuring powerful file-lists and rotatable text. -Fat binary
runs in native mode on PowerMacs or on 680x0 based machines. -Plus much,
much, much more!

DiskTracker requires System 7.0 or later and at least 700K of available
memory.

Subject: [*] Postcard plug-in for WebSTAR

Postcard is a web server plug-in that allows your users to send
customized postcards. The user select a graphic, enters some text and a
destination email address on a normal HTML form. The text is written
onto the selected graphic, which is then emailed directly to the desired
address. This eliminates the need for any kind of "pick-up" procedure
normally associated with web postcards.

Postcard will work on PowerPC web servers running WebSTAR 1.3.2 and
higher, or other W*API 1.1 compliant servers. It is fast, and does not
require any additional helper applications (such as Eudora) to handle
the email or the graphic manipulation.

Permission is granted to include Postcard on the Info-Mac CD-ROM. The
latest version is always available at
